• 1904 Mercedes Simplex 40 HP at RM Sotheby's Monterey (motorious.com) — Owls Head residents should know the Transportation Museum’s landmark 1904 Mercedes Simplex is heading to RM Sotheby’s Monterey auction, with proceeds supporting the museum’s STEM education programs. The car, donated in 1977 by IBM’s Thomas J. Watson Jr., is considered one of the most original and historically important Veteran-era Mercedes models ever offered for public sale.
