Carol Piland Morehead as its new dean, bringing fresh leadership to one of the city's key spiritual hubs. Susan Collins for answers after a ProPublica report described an FBI plan to investigate alleged pay-to-play ties between her campaign and defense contractor Navatek, with a news conference held near her Portland office. Collins and the FBI both insist she is not implicated, while Democrats argue voters deserve clearer explanations just weeks before the election.
