• Two cars collide in Raymond while passing in no-passing zone, officials say (newscentermaine.com) — A two-car crash on North Raymond Road Tuesday morning left both drivers with minor injuries and temporarily closed the road while deputies investigated. Officials say both southbound vehicles tried to pass traffic in a clearly marked no-passing zone, causing one car to overturn. The juvenile driver from Portland was charged, though details of the charge were not immediately released. 
• Mass. photographer stabbed during Maine wedding reception in ‘unprovoked attack' - Boston News, Weather, Sports (whdh.com) — A Massachusetts wedding photographer was stabbed during a May 23 reception at Kingsley Pines Campground in Raymond, suffering a serious abdominal wound that required surgery. Cumberland County deputies say the attack appeared unprovoked and quickly arrested a 26-year-old suspect on an elevated aggravated assault charge. The victim is recovering but temporarily unable to work while facing medical expenses.
