1. Police Nab Sex Offender, Saying He Again Failed to Register (midcoastvillager.com) — Rockland police helped arrest a 24-year-old man accused of repeatedly failing to register as a sex offender and giving false names after serious motorcycle crashes in town. The case, which also involves Thomaston police and prior warrants, led a judge to set cash bail at $5,000 after prosecutors argued for a higher amount.

3. Midcoast Victorian inn sells for $3.3M (bangordailynews.com) — A well-known Victorian inn on Talbot Avenue in Rockland has been sold for $3.3 million to a locally based buyer, EJ Estates LLC. Lincoln Academy Collects Team Victory at KVAC Class 'B' Shootout (midcoastvillager.com) — A Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B golf shootout brought six high school teams to Rockland Golf Club, where Lincoln Academy clinched an automatic berth to the state championships.
