• Driver Nearly Strikes Firefighter Before Sparking Multi-Town Police Chase (themainewire.com) — Rockport and Rockland police helped end a multi-town chase near Chickawaukee Lake after a driver allegedly nearly struck a firefighter in Union and then fled from a traffic stop. Officers used tire deflation devices to safely stop the truck, and the driver was detained and taken for medical evaluation while the investigation continues.
