Sanford City Council extends data center moratorium another 180 days (wmtw.com) ā Sanfordās City Council has unanimously extended its moratorium on new data center development for another 180 days, giving officials more time to weigh neighborhood and environmental concerns against promised jobs and tax revenue. The pause, first enacted in May after a proposed statewide moratorium was vetoed, means any large data center proposals in Sanford will remain on hold into early 2027.

Public Notice: Student Transportation of America, Inc., CWA-01-2026-0054 (epa.gov) ā A Sanford school bus facility at 100 Cyro Drive is named in a proposed EPA Clean Water Act settlement involving stormwater and spill-prevention violations across several New England sites.
