• MaineDOT to temporarily close Seawall Road in Southwest Harbor (foxbangor.com) — Drivers in Southwest Harbor should prepare for Seawall Road (Route 102A) to close for up to 28 days starting October 5 while MaineDOT strengthens the shoreline section against future storms. The work includes new gabion baskets, a reinforced culvert with eel passage, and a signed detour, with completion expected by October 30.
