• Multiple fire engines respond to tire pile fire near processing facility in Harford County (dailydispatch.com) — Fire crews from across Harford County, including responders from Aberdeen Proving Ground, helped contain a tire pile fire Monday at a recycling facility on Pauls Lane in Joppa. The blaze sent a large plume of dark smoke into the air but was kept to shredded tires, and investigators are now working to determine what sparked it.
   

• General Dynamics shows Wolf XM30 at AUSA 2026 (defence-blog.com) — Testing of General Dynamics’ new Wolf XM30 infantry fighting vehicle is underway at Aberdeen Proving Ground, where the first prototype was delivered in August. The Army is comparing it with American Rheinmetall’s Lynx to eventually replace the Bradley, a multibillion‑dollar program that keeps APG central to next‑generation combat vehicle development and evaluation.
