2. 3 small businesses pick up $149 million Army contracts (nj.com subscription) โ Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground has awarded a major $99 million armor-development contract to Maryland-based Hardwire LLC as part of $149 million in new Pentagon awards. While other work will occur in Illinois and New Jersey, the Aberdeen Proving Ground-based command is directing the largest project, focused on lighter, more protective vehicle armor through 2031.
