Apartment Fire Displaces More Than 20 In Perryman: Officials
Fire at an apartment building in Harford County Wednesday night resulted in the loss of homes for adults, children and cats, officials said.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Officials say more than 20 people were displaced by an apartment fire in Perryman Wednesday night. Two cats also were displaced, according to Jenn Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

Multiple crews responded to the fire, which broke out at an apartment building in the 200 block of Perrywood Court. According to Chenworth, the blaze was declared under control by 7:15 p.m. No injuries were reported.

There were 11 children and 11 adults receiving disaster assistance following the fire, according to Chenworth.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal and Harford County building inspectors were at the scene.
