Boy Trapped In 'Claw' Machine In Aberdeen: Officials
Emergency officials said a child went into the door of a machine where prizes are supposed to come out.
ABERDEEN, MD — A child was trapped Saturday evening in Aberdeen after going into the "prize door" of a vending machine, authorities reported.
The Aberdeen Fire Department was called at 5:49 p.m. for a report of a child stuck in a game machine in the 800 block of Long Drive, according to Jenn Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
Officials said the boy had gone into a "claw machine" through the door where a prize comes out and was unable to leave.

The 9 or 10-year-old boy clad in a baseball outfit was playing in the game room at the Courtyard Marriott near Ripken Stadium, where his parents were staying, according to WBAL, when he wriggled into the prize chute because the toy did not come out of the claw game — and the door closed behind him.
The owner of the vending machine was called to unlock the front and let him out, according to Chenworth, who said the boy was uninjured.
