A Trip to a Different Place

McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant 777 Harrah's Blvd. Atlantic City, NJ 08401 609.441.5579 M-TH: 12:00PM-11:00PM FRI: 12:00PM-12:00AM SAT: 12:00PM-12:00AM SUN: 12:00PM-11:00PM

This past weekend my family and I went to Atlantic City, New Jersey for Fathers Day and our little spring vacation. While we were there we went to the Harrahs Resort to go to McCormick and Schmick's for my Dad's Fathers Day dinner. We had reservations for 6 p.m. but we got there a little early and were able to get seated right away. When we did, our server came right over we ordered our drinks and our appetizer. I had a ginger ale and my Mom and Dad had a ice water. We got my favorite for our appetizer ... Calamari! It came with this really yummy roasted tomato sauce. When we were done our appetizer we ordered our dinner. I got the Linguine with clams and red sauce. It was so goood! It was loaded with clams ( still in the shell, it was really cool ) and the red sauce was really nice and sweet!

My dad got the Fathers Day Mixed Grill. It came with a crab cake, a piece of filet steak, and Mahi Mahi fish on top of a potato cake ( I think it was called a latke ). Dad said it was all delicious! My mom got the Cowboy Rib Eye, she really was craving a steak and boy did she get one! It had the bone still on it was really good and grilled perfectly! Then for desert my dad got a creme brulee (it came with his dinner), so we all just split that. It was really really good and came with some fresh berries. The decor in the restaurant was very classy. There were images of sea related items from boats to seafood, and the woodworking was wonderful! We will definitely be going there again when we go back to Atlantic City.

This experience was awesome! I give McCormick and Schmick's a 5 out of 5 clams!
