Celebrate Differing Abilities at the Sprout Film & Art Festival

The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region brings trio of culture to the community

The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region (The Arc NCR) will host the third annual Sprout Film & Art Festival on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Water’s Edge Events Center in Belcamp, MD. This year’s event has even more to enjoy for attendees: the addition of a local art display and a performance by ReVision Dance Company from Washington, DC.

The artwork, films and dancing all celebrate the talents of people with differing abilities. The evening will begin with the opportunity to browse beautiful art and enjoy light refreshments, be moved by a modern dance performance and end with an hour of short films from the renowned NYC company, Sprout.

“Sprout is an opportunity to learn more about intellectual and developmental disabilities in a way that challenges stereotypes,” says Director of Development at The Arc NCR, Julie Chmura. “Differing abilities means a wide variety of talents, and we are excited to showcase these talents in our community.”
