GREAT ESCAPE: Restaurant Week Continues

Raise a glass and toast to a great escape over a world class meal in honor of Harford County’s 2nd annual Restaurant Week. Billed as “the most delicious week of the year” and running from June 9 to June 15, you have a big window and lots of choices to consider for your great escape.

Restaurant Week—its goal being to highlight local cuisine and help introduce new patrons to Harford County restaurants—is sponsored by the Office of Economic Development and Tourism and the County Executive’s Office.

More than 30 restaurants will participate in Restaurant Week by offering a prix fixe (price fixed) menu featuring three-course meals for $20.11 plus tax, beverage and gratuity.

For the budget-conscious, some restaurants will be offering menus for less than $20.

In Aberdeen there are three Restaurant Week participants—Carsin’s Steak & Seafood Grill, Durango’s Southwestern Grill and The Greene Turtle—for you to choose from.

If you are willing to travel a bit, the restaurant choices in close proximity to Aberdeen include Bruce Bitner’s Café & Gril and McShane’s Gourmet, both in Bel Air, and Clarence’s Taste of New Orleans in Edgewood.

As an incentive to dine out several times during the week, you will be entered to win a grand prize valued at $1,000 for a basket of local restaurant gift cards and certificates each time you enjoy a qualifying meal. And this could mean that several great escapes await you in the coming week.
