• $80K Discovery Lands Aberdeen Man Behind Bars After Months-Long Drug Probe: Sheriff (dailyvoice.com) — An Aberdeen man was arrested after Harford County narcotics detectives searched his Mayberry Drive residence and reported seizing drugs, cash, weapons and body armor valued at more than $80,000. The months-long investigation focused on suspected dealing from a local apartment complex, and the suspect is now being held without bond at the Harford County Detention Center, underscoring an ongoing local push against illegal narcotics.
   

• Army will soon deliver first batch of detection tools to help command posts identify their own signal emissions, protect from EMS targeting (defensescoop.com) — Army officials at Aberdeen Proving Ground are preparing to field new Spectrum Situational Awareness Systems that help units detect and reduce their own electromagnetic signatures before enemies can target them. Nine systems will go to select Army units within weeks, with 46 expected by July 2027, reflecting lessons from Ukraine about how vulnerable visible radio and microwave emissions have become on modern battlefields.
