Iraq War Ends After 9 Years: Was It Worth It?

With the retiring of the U.S. Forces-Iraq flag in a formal ceremony in Baghdad on Thursday, the U.S. military officially announced the end of the war in Iraq, according to a Reuters report.
The report states that the last 4,000 troops will withdraw from Iraq by the end of the year, and Iraqi forces will be responsible for safeguarding their country.
