Cat of the Week - GARFIELD

This is Garfield! He is a 1-year-old little boy who came to the shelter as a stray. He is a very sweet little fellow who loves to play and cuddle. He will need lots of quiet time to adjust to a new home, and the adoptions staff here would be happy to give you some pointers.  He hopes that you will stop by and see him soon.  He promises you won't regret it!

 

Dog of the Week - LEONARDO

Age:  6 years old

Color:  Black & Brown

Breed: Rottweiler/Shepherd Mix

Gender:  Male

Adoption Fee: $47.50

Leonardo is a big bundle of love and affection!  He is a Rottweiler mixed maybe with German Shepherd, but he is100% fun.  At about 50 pounds he is a nice sized boy, but he is quite friendly and will greet you at the kennel door with lots of anticipation. He knows sit on command and will give his paw for a handshake, and he likes his treats!  Being a pretty strong guy, he is getting some training from the volunteers on how to walk nicely on a leash, but so far it has been so much fun to go for a walk that he will pull you around a bit. He has a friendly outgoing personality, always asking to play with the other shelter dogs. If you are in the market for a nice solid boy full of love, go meet him!

 

Small Critter of the Week -  JASON

Age:  2 years

Color: Multi

Breed:  Red Eared Slider

Gender:  Male

Adoption Fee: $25

Jason is a turtle that would make a really neat pet, but please, before adopting him, do your research on turtles to see the type of care he requires. That way, you can make sure he would be the perfect match for you and your family and you can have all the supplies ready for him.  Visit him at the shelter. He’s sure you'll fall in love with him!
