An Aberdeen man was stabbed to death 7 years ago in Glen Burnie. Police have offered a reward for leads as they try to find the killer.

ABERDEEN, MD — The murder of an Aberdeen man who suffered fatal stab wounds before hitting a girl with his car and crashing into a tree near in Glen Burnie remains unsolved seven years later, authorities say. On Friday, Anne Arundel County Police appealed to anyone who might have information about the deadly attack on Lamonte Tracey Sherman, 39, of Aberdeen, to call the department. Police are now offering up to a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) who killed Sherman.
When police arrived at Ann's Dari-Creme in the 7900 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie on May 29, 2011, they found Sherman had stab wounds to his upper torso. Investigators say Sherman was stabbed before he lost control of a Dodge Magnum station wagon and crossed Ritchie Highway, including a grassy median. His car jumped the curb and hit a table in the Ann's Dari-Creme parking lot where a 15-year-old girl was sitting with her family. The station wagon continued through the parking lot, struck a tree and came to a stop.
The 15-year-old girl suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and was treated at Johns Hopkins Children's Center in Baltimore.
