Police Seek Man Who Touched Girl at Bus Stop

A female juvenile alleged that she was grabbed on the buttocks by a man who then ran off.

A juvenile female was accosted Friday while waiting to catch her morning school bus, police said.

An unknown man approached the girl at the bus stop at the intersection of Post and Wood roads and touched her in a sexual manner, according to Lt. Fred Budnick.

The suspect contacted the victim, who was alone, and grabbed her buttocks,” Budnick said in a prepared statement. “The suspect immediately fled on foot.”

Budnick said officers responded immediately to the incident that occurred at 8:10 a.m. and canvassed the area throughout the morning. The public is urged to contact police if they notice any suspicious activity, Budnick said.

A white male, pale in color, approximately 25 to 35 years old, with balding, brown hair. The suspect was approximately 6 feet and 2 inches in height and weighed approximately 300 pounds. He was wearing a light blue T-shirt and blue shorts.
