State Police Crack Multiple Burglaries in Harford
Starting in Aberdeen, the Bel Air Barrack made seven arrests in four burglary cases.

Maryland State Police troopers from the Bel Air Barrack "D" uncovered a series of Harford County burglaries and made seven arrests in less than one week, according to a press release.
Beginning near Aberdeen on July 18, troopers responded to complaints of a stolen PlayStation on the residential 1500 block of Old Philadelphia Road, the release said.
Police traced the gaming system to 30-year-old Laura Elizabeth Blodgett of Aberdeen. After further investigation, troopers linked Brian Ronald Davis, 30, and Christopher Michael McFarlin, 27, both of Aberdeen, to the alleged burglary.

All three were charged with first-degree burglary and theft, according to the release.
Troopers responded to a commercial burglary three days later, where the victim said $18,000 worth of equipment had been stolen. The stolen property was recovered in Dundalk, with help from the Baltimore County Police Department detectives, the release said.

Police linked the stolen items to 24-year-old Patrick Michael Whetzel, of Parkville, and Mitchell Bradley Frost, 23, of Pasadena and Nottingham. Both were arrested and charged with burglary and theft.
The third incident occurred when troopers responded to another residential burglary in Joppa. Police allege 18-year-old Tyrell Marcell Smith Jr., of Aberdeen, stole $1,000. According to the release, Smith turned himself in to investigators and was charged and later released, pending a trial.
With help from neighbors, a Street resident reported a burglary in progress Aug. 8. Troopers responded and later found 28-year-old Christopher Allen Carter, the release said.
Carter was charged with burglary and malicious property destruction.
Detectives from the Harford County Sheriff's Office, in addition to the Aberdeen and Havre de Grace police departments, are continuing investigations on all cases, the release said.
