Two New Columnists Join Aberdeen Patch
Mark Schlottman will write about from the perspective of a nearly lifelong resident. Misha Waters will write about health issues.
Two new weekly columnists have joined Aberdeen Patch, giving the online publication greater perspective on the community and surrounding area.
Mark Schlottman begins his column, Aberdeen Happenings, today about anything related to Aberdeen.
Misha Waters will start her column, Health Moments, Thursday about (as you’ve probably already guessed) health.

Schlottman, 52, was born and raised in Aberdeen and has lived here most of his life.
He graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1976. He is a volunteer who is active in the city and in Harford County.

Schlottman, who is relatively new to writing, has hosted radio talk shows on WAMD, AM 970—which is returning soon—and on WFBR, AM 1590.
Aberdeen Happenings will run on Tuesdays.
Waters, a lifelong Harford County resident, will focus on everything from nationally recognized health-related celebrations to healthy recipes, tips and suggestions.
Waters has worked in and around Aberdeen and the surrounding area as a grant writer and program manager for various non-profit agencies. She is a graduate of Joppatowne High School and Eastern College, now Eastern Universtiy.
Health Moments will run on Thursdays.
Schlottman and Waters join well-known local journalist Amber Woods, who writes the weekly column Woods on Wednesday, and Local Editor Mark Tyler, who writes The Monday Morning Quarterback.
