Two Presentations Come Before City Council Tonight

Aberdeen City Council meets at 7 p.m. Monday at and is scheduled to discuss three resolutions following a pair of presentations.

Resolutions will be presented on the community legacy grant for facade improvements, on Philadelphia Boulevard and Merritt Properties at the Aberdeen Corporate Park on McHenry Road. Those resolutions are for introduction and adoption.

Presentations will be made on the International Walk to School Month and another on municipal water and sewer.
A preliminary site plan for the Home 2 Suites by Hilton, located on Lot 4 at the Aberdeen XChange, will be presented as business from director of Planning and Community Development Phyllis Grover.

City Manager Doug Miller will introduce Halloween activities.
Election Day is scheduled for 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at the Aberdeen Senior Center. The Oath of Office for elected officials will be held at 7 p.m on Nov. 14.
