"Your greatness is your service, and all of us deeply appreciate what you are doing, and can never hope to repay you enough," Gov. Martin O'Malley said at the ceremony. The remaining troops from the <a href="http://www.mdarmyguard.com/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Maryland Army National Guard's</a> 1729th Field Support Maintenance Company are currently on their way home after remaining at the base to "turn off the lights," as one family member puts it. They'll have the chance to turn on the holiday lights when they reunite with their families at home this holiday season.
