Suspect Smashes Into MD Gas Station, Makes Off With 2 Cases Of Twisted Tea: Police
A MD burglary suspect allegedly smashed through a Sunoco door with their Crocs in "sports mode" and headed straight for the Twisted Tea.
TANEYTOWN, MD — A burglar apparently had one thing on their mind after smashing into a Maryland gas station late Monday night: Twisted Tea.
The suspect broke the front glass door of the Sunoco at 251 E. Baltimore St. around 11:53 p.m., according to Taneytown police. Once inside, the person ran directly to the back corner of the convenience store and grabbed two cases of Twisted Tea.
The suspect then ran away, heading east toward East Baltimore Street, police said.

Police said the suspect was dressed in black, including a jacket, shorts, mask and Crocs — which authorities notably described as being "in sports mode" — along with white socks.
Investigators are asking nearby residents and businesses to check their doorbell cameras and other surveillance footage for any footage that could have captured the suspect.
