$100K Superfecta Win Surprises Annapolis Man
The 65-year-old painter and gardener by trade could not believe his luck after playing the lottery for years.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — It's a weekly ritual for an Annapolis man to play Maryland Lottery games. After years of trying his luck, the 65-year-old nailed the $100,684 prize on the Racetrax Superfecta, his biggest payday ever.
The painter and gardener by trade couldn't believe his luck.
“I had to keep checking the ticket. There are more zeros here than I thought. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," the winner told the Maryland Lottery.

The lucky Anne Arundel County resident shared news of his win with a few friends and family members. When asked about his plans for his fortune, he replied that he doesn’t have any at the moment other than continuing to play Lottery games.
His lucky retailer, H&B Fuller Wine & Spirits of Annapolis, also shared in the celebration. The business will earn a bonus of $1,006.84 for selling a $100,684 winning Racetrax ticket.
