13th Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run In Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The 13th Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run in Annapolis will begin at 9 a.m. Nov. 28. Hosted by Fleet Feet Sports, the route will wind participants through downtown Annapolis. The route begins and ends at Fleet Feet Annapolis' original location at 318 6th Street in Eastport. The special holiday event will benefit Girls on the Run Greater Chesapeake and the Annapolis Police Foundation.

Prizes will be awarded for the best turkey costumes. Strollers, children and dogs are welcome to participate. The run will be divided into three sections with a 9 a.m. start time for those who run an 8:30-mile or faster. The second group starting at 9:03 a.m. is for those who log an 8:30-minute mile up to a 10-minute mile. The third group that takes off at 9:06 a.m. is for those who run a 10-minute mile or slower, which also is the best option for those with strollers and dogs. To register for the event, visit here.
