2 Annapolis Men Charged in 17-Year-Old's Shooting
Annapolis Police have charged two men in the shooting of a teenager; investigators need tips to find whoever shot two other victims Nov. 5.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Two Annapolis men were arrested this week on attempted murder charges for the Nov. 10 shooting of a 17-year-old boy in the Eastport Terrace community.
Annapolis Police officers found the unidentified shooting victim in the 1100 block of Frederick Douglass Street just before 11 p.m. on Nov. 10. He was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Police have not released the victim's name.
Omaryan White, 20, of Annapolis was arrested Nov. 17 for the attempted murder of the 17-year-old victim. Additionally, Deondray Jones, 19, of Annapolis was arrested on Nov. 15 and charged with conspiracy to commit attempted murder in the case.

Detectives say help from members of the community led to White being identified as the suspect in the shooting, and Jones was reportedly with White before, during, and after the shooting.
White was charged with attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, use of a firearm in a felony or violent crime, and handgun on person. He is awaiting his initial hearing before the District Court Commissioner.

Jones was charged with similar charges and conspiracy. He is being held at the Jennifer Road Center on $500,000 bond.
The shooting was the third incident that has left someone wounded in less than a week.
On Nov. 5, two men were wounded in separate shootings, the first was reported about 12:23 p.m. in the 1000 block of Monroe Street. A man was shot and taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with serious injuries.
The second shooting was reported just after 10:30 p.m. that day in the area of Frederick Douglass Street and Medgar Evers Street. A man was found in the 1100 block of Madison Street and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. His name has not been released by authorities.
Annapolis detectives are still seeking information about this shooting and the two that happened Nov. 5 in the same area. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 410-260-3439.
