20-Foot Fall From Tree Sends Annapolis Man To Hospital
An Annapolis area man cutting a tree limb fell 20 feet and was flown to an area hospital, authorities say.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man who fell about 20 feet while cutting a tree limb in the Annapolis area was seriously injured and flown to a regional hospital Tuesday. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department says the mishap was reported about 1 p.m. in the unit block of Wilelinor Drive.
Based on information obtained by 9-1-1 call takers was also alerted to the call. Firefighters located a 67-year-old man who had fallen approximately 20 feet while cutting a limb on a tree. Paramedics took him to a Maryland State Police medevac helicopter landing site on Annapolis Exchange Parkway and he was flown to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.
Officials say the victim's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
