73-Year-Old Man Charged With Abusing Care Patient, Records Show
Jeffry Musgrove, 73, is facing several charges after being accused of inappropriately touching a senior care patient.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — Jeffry Musgrove, a 73-year-old man from Annapolis, is facing several charges after being accused of sexually abusing a senior care patient.
Court records show Musgrove was charged Thursday on three offenses:
- Third-degree sexual offense against an individual who is physically helpless or impaired
- Fourth-degree sexual offense involving sexual contact
- Second-degree assault
Citing charging documents, Capital Gazette reported police responded to a sexual assault report involving a patient at the Complete Care at Annapolis nursing home.

Police said Musgrove signed in at the facility after 11:15 a.m., initially telling staffers he was the patient's husband. However, he later told officers he was a friend.
Officers were called to the nursing home after a staffer witnessed Musgrove touching the woman, according to Capital Gazette.

Filings show Musgrove was arrested and remains held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for April 22.
