Accused Heroin Dealer Arrested After Search of Auto Repair Shop, Home

A Glen Burnie man faces multiple charges of drug trafficking and weapons crimes after a search of his apartment, auto repair shop.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Glen Burnie man faces multiple charges of drug trafficking and weapons crimes after heroin, crack cocaine and Oxycodone were seized as part of a narcotics raid, Anne Arundel County Police say.

Suspect Thomas William Booze, 26, of the 6300 block of Smithy Square in Glen Burnie, is charged with 11 criminal counts after narcotics searched his apartment in the 6300 block of Smithy Square and an auto repair business, All About Auto, 7264 Furnace Branch Road in Glen Burnie. The raid happened early Friday morning, authorities say.

Seized during the search was a Glock 29 handgun that had the serial number destroyed, a 45 caliber handgun, 66.48 grams of cocaine/crack cocaine with an estimated street value of $6,648, 87 oxycodone pills with an estimated street value of $870 and a large sum of cash.

Booze is charged with:

  • Possession of crack cocaine
  • Possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine
  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession with intent to distribute cocaine
  • Possession of Oxycodone
  • Possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone
  • Illegally possessing ammunition
  • CDS distribute with firearm
  • Firearm use/felony crime
  • Illegally possess regulated firearm
  • Knowingly alter firearm ID number
