More than 30 Admiral Heights residents (two-and four-legged) participated in the annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot in Admiral Heights.

More than 30 Admiral Heights residents (two-and four-legged) participated in the annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot in Admiral Heights.
The goal? To burn up some calories before sitting down for Thanksgiving dinner.
Some walked. Some ran. Some did both. Some warmed up with stretches. Others jumped right into the run. Participants had their choice of a .75-mile route, a 3.5-mile route, or their own variation which may have included some shortcuts.

What started out as a frigid run quickly warmed up to almost comfortable by the time they returned to the starting point where snacks and drinks awaited. Conversation topics naturally included running, dogs and Thanksgiving.
