The 21+ fundraiser offers bourbon and whiskey tastings, curated cigars, and food from regional chefs, with proceeds supporting Historic Annapolis and its preservation work across the city.
   

3. Luminis Health Working to Restore Systems After Cyberattack (hipaajournal.com) — Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis is coping with a cyberattack that has disrupted phones, MyChart access, and some appointments, though both Luminis Health hospitals remain open for care. Investigators are still determining whether any patient data was exposed, and residents should watch for future notifications while expecting some scheduling and communication delays.
   

4. Anne Arundel County Layoffs: What Workers Should Do Next (annapolismomsmedia.com) — Workers in Annapolis and across Anne Arundel County face significant fall layoffs, including positions at Crosby Marketing Communications in the city. Local residents are urged to tap free help from Anne Arundel Workforce Development, attend job fairs like the Annapolis High School Community Hiring Event, and prepare unemployment claims and résumés now to ease the transition.
   

5. Annapolis artist Jeff Huntington's work now on display at Disney World's new Level 99 gaming venue (wmar2news.com) — Annapolis residents can take pride in local artist Jeff Huntington, whose vibrant mural now appears inside the new Level 99 gaming venue at Walt Disney World. Known as Jahru, he draws inspiration from his father's experience with Alzheimer's and is also preparing new public work for a Washington, D.C., mural festival.
