Unit III personnel will be contacted separately regarding their reporting requirements.

Monday’s closing does not change the start of the third marking period for students, the school system says.

At this time, Tuesday will be a teacher workday and the third marking period will start on Wednesday, Jan. 27.

County Executive Steve Schuh said all Anne Arundel County government offices and departments will be closed for nonessential personnel on Monday.

“While the storm activity has moved out of the area, we continue to work to clear our roads and restore power to our communities,” said Schuh. “Closing county government will allow our crews the extra time needed to get their work done.”
