Annapolis Arts Week begins June 1 with art shows, block parties, festivals and more over the next 10 days.

From Annapolis Arts District: Today kicks off Annapolis Arts Week and fun events are scheduled for the next 10 days. The Annapolis Arts District and Downtown Annapolis will be buzzing with art events, performances, exhibitions, classes, concerts, block parties and festivals. Day or evening there is something for everyone this week in the Annapolis Arts District.
Some of the highlights in the Annapolis Arts District include
June 1- Kick off event New Mural party at MPTA - Park Place
June 2 - Block Party in the Arts District - Across from the new Hilton Garden Inn
June 3 - First Sunday Arts Festival and Movies at Sunset at Reynolds Tavern
June 5 - The Miser by Shakespeare Theatre at Reynolds Tavern
June 6 - Dinner Under the Stars & Nocturnal Paintings with Paint Annapolis

Exhibits at Bannaker Douglas Museum, Artfarm, Annapolis Collection Gallery, Whitehall Gallery, Nancy Hammond Editions, Finart and Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.

Plus the arts district has new murals on the back of Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, Stage One at Park Place and Whitmore Park on Calvert Street. In addition we have a new sculpture behind the Visitors Center and art crosswalks at the intersection of Amos Garrett and West Street.
The Annapolis Arts District also welcomes the new Hilton Garden Inn. We invite you to visit their lobby that features local art that was mainly purchased in the Annapolis Arts District and downtown Annapolis.
