City of Baltimore: Midterm Election-Day '26 Wes Moore vs Dan Cox "No Gov. of Maryland Doubt"

November 3, 2026 - The "Charm'tastic Mile" of Baltimore (CTMB-1.3) www.thecharmtasticmile.com. The chic & famed 1.3 mile corridor located in the heart of Charm City (Est.1975) that connects Dwtn-West, the Inner Harbor & Harbor East (S. Greene & W. Pratt Street to S. President & Fleet Street) that is now listed on Google search as one of the Top 10-15 Most Famous Streets in America is reporting its Vote'tastic Tuesday in B'more.

Today is the all-important midterm elections. The "Charm'tastic Mile" is urging the Citizens of Baltimore & State of Maryland to exercise their right to vote.

Here in Maryland the Race for Governor will be between Incumbent Wes Moore vs Dan Cox. Independent Andy Ellis is also on the ballot. Voting polls are open until 8:00 PM. There will be "No Gov. of Maryland Doubt" Moore vs Cox later this evening or into early morning hours of November 4th.

Wes Moore is the 63rd Governor of Maryland and the first Black Governor, elected in 2022 in his first bid for elected office. His campaign site says he has prioritized reducing child poverty, supporting the middle class and investing in education. The administration has prioritized public safety, and claims to have brought violent crime to historic lows.

Dan Cox was the Republican nominee for governor in 2022, who said he sought a rematch with Gov. Wes Moore (D) because he’s deeply concerned about the financial burden of high inflation and national debt on Marylanders and all Americans. He believes in protecting the American dream

Yesterday was the 105th birthday of former Gov. William Donald Schaefer (1987-95). Schaefer was also Mayor of Baltimore from 1971-87. His imprint and legacy to the City and State remains evident today. Mayor/Gov. Schaefer will forever be a giant in the history of Baltimore & Stata of Maryland politics.
