Annapolis Drug Raid Seizes $13K In Mushrooms, Marijuana

An Annapolis man faces multiple drug charges after a police raid found marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms at a house.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — An Annapolis man is charged with multiple drug trafficking offenses after a raid last month at his home. Matthew Nathan Hasz, 26, of the 100 block of Browns Wood Road is charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute and five counts of possession of CDS.

Members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Narcotics and Special Investigations Section executed a search warrant Aug. 30 in the 100 block of Browns Woods Road. Hasz was not there when officers searched the house and detectives applied for an arrest warrant. A court commissioner issued a summons and he was later taken into custody.

Drugs seized by police and their estimated street values are:
  • 381 grams of marijuana (estimated street value $7,600)
  • 156 grams of psilocybin mushrooms ($5,470)
  • 37 canisters of THC oil (estimated street value $700)
  • 1 vial of Testosterone
  • 1 vial of Trenacetate
