Homicide Suspect Sought After Man Fatally Shot In Annapolis: Police
Police identified a homicide suspect in Annapolis. Officers are looking for this woman accused of fatally shooting a man earlier this month.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Annapolis Police Department identified the suspect in a recent homicide.
Officers accused Ronnisha Jacarra Harris, 32, of fatally shooting Raphael Hilton Johnson Jr., 48, earlier this month in Annapolis.
Authorities said they are still looking for the accused woman, who lives in the Annapolis area.

Police announced Friday that they secured an arrest warrant charging Harris with first-degree murder, second-degree murder and other related criminal offenses.
"I want to thank the men and women of the Annapolis Police Department, both our uniformed officers and detectives for their hard work in identifying the person responsible for committing this heinous crime," Chief Edward Jackson said in a press release. "We will continue to work hard to ensure that people who are committing and involved in violence are held accountable in a court of law."

The shooting happened March 2 around 5:15 p.m. in the 100 block of Obery Court, authorities said.
Police said they found Johnson suffering from a single gunshot wound to the back of his head.
The Annapolis Fire Department pronounced the victim dead on the scene around 5:26 p.m., a press release said.
Detectives said they found security footage of the shooting and are still investigating.
"I want our residents and visitors to know that we will continue to do our very best to ensure a rapid response to crime and violence," Jackson said.

The Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland offered a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest or an indictment on felony charges. The Metro Crime Stoppers is a non-police organization that collects tips and shares them with detectives.
