Annapolis High School Evacuated As Precaution

Students were evacuated to the stadium as a precaution on Monday, officials say. No device was found; no suspects have been named.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Students at Annapolis High School were evacuated Monday for a couple of hours because of a non-specific bomb threat, school officials said.

The evacuation was precautionary, Anne Arundel County Public Schools officials said on Twitter. No device was found; no suspects or arrests were reported.

Police officers and firefighters searched the school.

The school was cleared for re-entry about 1 p.m. and the normal schedule resumed.

All students were safe in the school stadium, the school system said, during the evacuation.
