Annapolis Man Charged With Child Rape, Other Victims Possible
Annapolis Police are seeking other victims after a man was charged with raping a child.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Annapolis Police are seeking other victims after a man was charged with raping a child. A child and family member went to the police station March 18 to report that a man the child knew sexually assaulted the victim; the accused attacker was identified as Richard Crowner, 43, of Annapolis, authorities said.
Annapolis Police Department detectives began an investigation and obtained an arrest warrant for Crowner. He was charged with sexual abuse of a minor, second-degree rape, third-degree and fourth-degree sex offense and second-degree assault.
On March 19, Annapolis Police arrested Crowner in the 1200 block of Madison Street. He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
