Annapolis Man Faces Four Counts of Attempted Murder
Police say the man shot at a vehicle with four men inside, hitting one man. The incident happened near West Washington and West streets.

An Annapolis man has been charged with four counts of attempted murder, and other charges, for allegedly shooting at four men in a vehicle earlier this month.
William Teat, 26, was arrested Wednesday by Annapolis Police for the shooting that occurred on Feb. 6 at 1:13 a.m. on West Washington Street near West Street. The night of the shooting, an officer in the area heard gunshots. Officers searched for a victim or suspect, without locating anyone.

About ten minutes later, Anne Arundel County Police Department notified Annapolis officers that a shooting victim had arrived at Anne Arundel Medical Center. The victim, a 46-year-old Annapolis man, was shot in the right side. He was taken to Baltimore Shock Trauma for treatment.
Investigators say Teat shot at the vehicle the victim and three other men were in.

Teat was charged with four counts of attempted second-degree murder, four counts of first- and second-degree assault, four counts of reckless endangerment, handgun on person, and firearm used by a felon in a felony or violent crime.
He is being held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center, police say.
