Shot Fired at Man During Robbery: Annapolis Police Reports

From the Annapolis Police Department:

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 85 calls for service and arrested 6 people.

Armed Robbery – 100 block of Quiet Waters Pl – 02/25 at 4:56am: A man approached a resident walking to his vehicle and showed a gun. The suspect demanded the victim’s property and took the man’s cell phone. The victim struggled with the suspect when the suspect tried to take his wallet. During the struggle a shot was fired and the suspect fled the area on foot. The victim was not injured. Officers searched the area for the suspect using police K-9 and helicopter, but they did not locate the suspect.

The Rev. Michelle Thorne Mejia and Police Chief Michael Pristoop invite you to attend this open conversation to further the relationship between the community and the Annapolis Police Department. Chief Pristoop will make a brief presentation which will be followed by comments and questions.
