Annapolis to Participate in National Night Out

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, Aug. 5. The Annapolis Police Department is hosting the 31st annual National Night Out Against Crime at Annapolis Walk Community Park, 1701 Belle Drive.

The celebration promotes crime prevention and education, helps communities prevent crime by strengthening police-community partnerships and neighborhood spirit and sends a message to criminals that the community is organized to fight back against crime.

The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Festivities include a moonbounce, obstacle course, K-9 demonstration, Honor Guard presentation, food and refreshments and more.
