Annapolis Pride Parade, Festival Postponed Due To Coronavirus

Organizers are working with the City of Annapolis to reschedule the parade and festival.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Organizers of the Annapolis Pride parade and festival have postponed the 2020 event due to the new coronavirus. The organization also has cancelled all in-person events until further notice. Organizers shared that it is working with the City of Annapolis to reschedule the parade and festival. Registered groups and sponsors can participate in the rescheduled event if they'd like and contributions will be honored, organizers said.

"Public health and safety continue to be our No. 1 priority," organizers said. "This is a challenging time and we are just beginning to experience the widespread impacts of this pandemic. Now more than ever, it’s important to have a supportive and inclusive community. Annapolis Pride will continue to work to build visibility and awareness of LGBTQ+ issues, create safe and welcoming spaces where all people feel welcome, and connect the community with allies and resources."
