Throughout the year, we will continue hosting concerts and events, offering unique attractions for guests of all ages, and ensuring that our retailers are one of a kind."
Business and community leaders cut the ribbon on the East Village this Sunday afternoon. The ceremony was part of the town center's third annual fall fest.
The U.S. Naval Academy Band and the Maryland Performing Arts Center dance team offered the entertainment.
Leaders in attendance include:
- Maryland first lady Yumi Hogan

"The new pavilion and green space is beautiful, and will be a great place for our community members and families to enjoy shows and time together," Jones said on Facebook.
The Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation estimated that 1,300 people attended the fall fest and the ceremony. The corporation called the East Village "a beautiful outdoor space that will spur a great deal of economic activity by hosting countless family-friendly events."
The town center also donated to GiGi's Playhouse as part of the grand reopening. GiGi's Playhouse is a Down Syndrome achievement center in Annapolis.
"We are so grateful for the Annapolis community and look forward to utilizing this new space," the nonprofit said on Facebook.
