Odenton Singer To Perform At Anne Arundel County Fair, Rides And Family Events Also Slated
The Anne Arundel County Fair returns this week. The Crownsville event will feature vendors and musicians, including an Odenton singer.

CROWNSVILLE, MD —The Anne Arundel County Fair returns to Crownsville this week. The fun starts Wednesday, and it runs through Sunday.
Wednesday is Scout Day. Uniformed scouts can enter for free with a paying adult. A portion of proceeds this day will benefit the Anne Arundel County Food Bank. Wednesday will also feature an opening ceremony and wine judging.
On Thursday, attendees can snag a $15 unlimited ride wristband until 5 p.m. Tickets are free for visitors 55 and up, children 9 and younger as well as guests with disabilities from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday highlights include a variety show and bingo.

Friday boasts activities for preschoolers and elementary students, a jousting demonstration and a concert from Oracle, a six-piece cover band.
Saturday touts a children's tug-of-war, a pie-eating contest and a scarecrow-making workshop.

Rounding out the fair, Sunday will spotlight cute kid and watermelon-eating contests. Odenton singer Jackson Dean will cap off the evening with a country performance.
A Wild West show, pig races and a carnival will run each day.
Tickets cost $10 for attendees 10 and older. Younger guests are free. Visitors must buy their tickets with cash. ATMs will be available.
