Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts:

Your final wish for our home theatre at Maryland Hall is for those of you who want to
experience a program of diverse, innovative works that display the depth and versatility
of the classical art form and BTM’s incredibly talented professional dancers as well as
introduce works by new composers and/or choreographers. New dramatic, traditional
and contemporary works all come together as BTM presents: Innovations 2017-2018 on
April 20 @7:30 p.m., April 21 @ 7:00 p.m. and April 22. Composer Ryan Lucas has
been commissioned
to create another new work for BTM. You may remember his first
commissioned work in 2016-Intimate Encounters which premiered to critical acclaim.
Marc Galibre’s Athletic and powerful Vortex returns; and the classical short version of
Raymonda makes its BTM debut. Additional new and returning works will be
announced at a later date. Our last performance on April 22 includes our Season Grande
Finale Party
immediately following the performance. Share in the celebration as we
toast the announcement of our 40th Anniversary in 2018-2019.
