April 20, 2026 - The "Charm'tastic Mile" of Baltimore (CTMB-1.3) www.thecharmtasticmile.com. The chic & famed 1.3 mile corridor located in the heart of Charm City (Est.1975) that connects Dwtn-West, the Inner Harbor & Harbor East (S. Greene & W. Pratt Street to S. President & Fleet Street) that is now listed on Google search as one of the Top 10-15 Most Famous Streets in America is reporting today is the 40th Anniversary (4-20-1986) of Michael Jordan's 63-point playoff game vs the Boston Celtics.

Michael was in his 2nd NBA season with the Chicago Bulls. He broke the navicular-bone during the 3rd game of the season. He missed 64-games and came back for the last 15-games of the season. The Bulls made the playoffs as the #8 seed and faced the #1 seed Boston Celtics. Larry Bird and his Celtics the previous season (1984-85) lost the 1985 NBA Finals to the Los Angeles Lakers.

In Game 2 of the Eastern Conference First Round Michael put on a show on the Sunday afternoon of April 20, 1986. He would display his full repertoire of moves & skills to score 63-points. Jordan's exploits on the Boston parquet floor became legendary. Bird famously said of Jordan "That was God disguised as Michael Jordan". The Celtics defeated the Bulls in double overtime 135-131.

Today is also the 30th Anniversary (1996-2026) of the Baltimore Ravens 1st NFL Draft. The Ravens made Jonathan Ogden (UCLA) the 4th overall pick of the 1st round. The organization selected Ray Lewis (Miami) with the #26 pick overall pick. The newly relocated Cleveland Browns to Baltimore had two players that would become the foundation of the franchise.

Ogden & Lewis would help lead the Ravens in their 5th season to Super Bowl XXXV and a win vs the New York Giants 34-7. Jonathan would be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013. Lewis in his final-season would be the inspirational leader to the Ravens who would defeat the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 to win Super Bowl XLVII. Ray is the only player in franchise history to be a member of SB-35 & SB-47 Championship teams. Lewis, one of the greatest players in NFL history was enshrined into the HOF in 2018.
