It’s not too late to join St. Anne’s Episcopal Church’s Adult Forum, which has spent the summer increasing participants’ understanding of how to live a good life by applying the “wisdom” and "instructions" from biblical books.
The summer forum wind ups its summer studies with Ecclesiastes on July 26 and Aug. 2; Job Prologue on Aug. 9; Job on Aug. 16; Job and the speeches from the whirlwind on Aug. 23; and Leading the good life on Aug. 30.
This lay-led, discussion-based group meets from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the back of St. Anne’s sanctuary. St. Anne’s is located in Church Circle in Annapolis, Md.
The group seeks to have a balanced, thoughtful, open exchange of ideas and perspectives on how to live a life honoring God, our self, and others. Discussions follow Yale Divinity School’s free online curriculum, which explores topics covered in the “Wisdom literature” of the Old Testament books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Job.
