Cars And Home Shot In Arnold, Officers Find 20+ Bullets: Police

Several vehicles and a home were shot in Arnold, police said. Officers noted that they found a person of interest and more than 20 bullets.

ARNOLD, MD — Police said several vehicles and a home were shot Sunday in Arnold. Officers noted that one of the car owners reported the shooting around 6:33 a.m. in the 500 block of Bellerive Drive. Authorities added that they searched the parking lot and found:

  • Two bullet holes in the back of a Toyota SUV
  • Another vehicle with the rear window shot twice
  • 13 shell casings in the first row of the parking lot
  • Two unspent rounds of ammunition
  • Five shell casings in the far corner of the parking lot
  • A Honda with bullet damage
  • Two shell casings at that vehicle's back bumper
  • A stray bullet that penetrated the third-floor window of a home in the 600 block of Baystone Court

Officials explained that they executed a search warrant at an unidentified home and found an unnamed person of interest, two 9 mm handguns and suspected marijuana. The investigation is still ongoing, police informed. Officers mentioned that they will give more information as it becomes available.
