Annapolis Prioritizes Eviction Prevention As Pandemic Continues

Annapolis has safety nets in place to minimize evictions during the coronavirus pandemic. Here are the city's latest efforts.

City of Annapolis to Host Community Eviction Prevention Workshops

ANNAPOLIS, MD (December 7, 2020) - The City of Annapolis’ Take Care Annapolis Outreach Team in collaboration with the Street Angel Project, is hosting Eviction Prevention Resource Workshops December 7 through 17. These workshops will take place at the following locations: Eastport Community Center, Robinwood Community Center, Morris H. Blum Community Room, and Bloomsbury Square Community Center.

The sessions are free. The public is invited to attend. Participants should bring all paperwork associated with their current housing status. In addition, residents are encouraged to bring documentation pertaining to reasons for any outstanding balance. Outreach team members will assist residents one-on-one with assistance in completing necessary forms, establishing payment plans, and connection residents to available legal assistance.
